Education
Walden University, Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, 2024
Work HistoryI am a Licensed Associate Counselor with a background helping clients who struggle with addictions and mental health concerns. Using unconditional positive regard and empathy, I help the client explore their thoughts and behaviors. My integrative approach to therapy empowers clients to work towards a life of better overall wellness. I have had several years of experience working in various settings, providing individual and group therapy. This includes partial care, intensive outpatient, and outpatient. I have expertise working with clients with the following diagnoses anxiety, depression, bipolar, and even schizoaffective disorders. Many of the clients have had co-occurring diagnoses, which is a mental health diagnosis, in addition to an alcohol and/or substance use disorder. I work with clients to assist them with finding more positive coping skills and making healthy life choices that align with their lifestyle and abilities.
