Work HistoryMy path to becoming a therapist wasn't a straight line, it was shaped by my own curiosity about what it means to live a meaningful life and how we heal from the things that hurt us. Growing up in northern New Jersey and completing my undergraduate work at Sierra Nevada College, where I studied both psychology and outdoor adventure leadership, taught me early on that healing happens in many ways, not just in an office, but through connection with ourselves and the natural world.
After earning my Master's in Psychology with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy from California Southern University in 2021, I began building my practice around a core belief: you are the expert on your own life. My job is to create a space where you can explore deeply, understand yourself better, and find your own path forward.
Much of my work has focused on addiction and substance use. As both a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor in Nevada, I've supported people at all stages of their relationship with substances.
I integrate techniques like Internal Family Systems, emotionally focused therapy, and psychodynamic methods to help people understand how their past experiences show up in their present lives.
I've also worked extensively with anxiety, depression, and self-esteem struggles. Using cognitive behavioral techniques alongside existential and humanistic approaches. Whether someone is a veteran navigating post-service life, a member of the LGBTQ+ community seeking affirming care, or someone struggling with body image and self-worth, I bring the same commitment to creating a space built on empathy, and genuine human connection.
I'm always learning and growing in my own practice. I'm currently pursuing certification in integrative and nutritional medicine for mental health because I believe our minds and bodies are deeply connected.
