Work HistoryWelcome and thank you for taking a minute to read about me.   I have actively worked in the Behavioral Health Field for the past eighteen years and my primary areas of interest include the study and resolution of developmental trauma, shock trauma, complex trauma, and their natural byproducts: distress, anxiety, panic, depression, addiction, affect dysregulation, and / or other relational difficulties. I utilize the deft, subtle,  and even paradigm-shifting NeuroAffective Relational Model to help clients build insight, develop self-compassion, embrace greater peace, joy, and an overall general sense of well-being. If you are struggling with symptoms that are consistent with anxiety, panic, depression, worry, PTSD, Complex PTSD, or other developmental trauma and / or relational issues, I would invite you to reach out to me such that we can discuss your struggle(s) and potentially set up an intake assessment if you feel like it is a good fit. What I bring to the table is a compassionate presence who engages in informed, depth-oriented inquiry to fully understand my client's distress. I also seek to bring awareness about how adaptive strategies, once necessary, become incongruent with an individual's sense of 'self.' I have witnessed remarkable transformation using NARM both personally as well as through my training and experience.     I am licensed in Wisconsin and have 7 years of professional work experience. I addition to what what has been mentioned, I have supported clients with respect to overcoming chronic stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, anger management, & lack of motivation , & self-esteem issues. I work to create an open and safe environment where my client’s thoughts, emotions, struggles / difficulties, & inner experience will be heard and honored without judgment. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am happy to work with others that desire personal change. #Telehealth #Teletherapy #MentalHealth #Anxiety #Depression #ComplexPTSD #DevelopmentalTrauma
