I have been working as a mental health counselor for 3 years. I specialize in working with relationships, relational and childhood trauma, self-esteem, and stress. In the realm of individual therapy, my approach is rooted in a dedication to providing individualized, empathetic care that recognizes the individuality of every client. My goal is to establish a sincere and compassionate relationship with my clients, giving them the security and confidence they need to express and explore themselves authentically. In working with couples, I utilize different approaches and I create a comprehensive framework that not only addresses surface-level issues but also delves into the emotional undercurrents and attachment bonds that shape the couple's interactions. My goal is to provide a supportive and transformative space where couples can cultivate a secure emotional connection and develop the skills needed for a thriving, resilient partnership. I also have a support group for black women called Healing With My Sista's for black women seeking connection and healing.
