Get To Know Me
If there was one thing you wish people knew about the therapy experience who might be hesitant to try it, what would that be?
I wish people knew that therapy isn’t about being “broken” or having something wrong with you—it’s about giving yourself the space to be heard, understood, and supported. You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. It’s a place where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment, gain new insights, and develop practical tools to navigate life’s challenges.
Many people worry that therapy will feel intimidating or too serious, but it can actually be a warm, collaborative experience. You set the pace, and nothing is too small or too “messy” to bring up. It’s okay to be unsure or nervous—your therapist is there to guide you and create a space where you feel safe enough to be yourself. Taking that first step can be scary, but it’s also a powerful act of self-care and courage.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I believe you’re the expert on your own life, and my role is to help you uncover insights, build practical tools, and feel more empowered in your relationships and personal growth. I strive to create a non-judgmental space where you can be honest and fully yourself—whether we’re exploring tough emotions, navigating relationship struggles, or working through patterns that feel stuck.
My style is conversational and practical—I’ll meet you where you are, without pushing or rushing the process, while offering tools and insights that fit your unique needs.
At the heart of my work is a belief that therapy should feel supportive and collaborative. You don’t have to have all the answers when you walk in—I’m here to guide you through the messiness of life and help you move toward the kind of life and relationships you want.
What does a first session with you look like?
A first session with me is all about getting to know you and what’s bringing you to therapy. I know starting therapy can feel a little nerve-wracking, so I aim to make it as comfortable and conversational as possible. We’ll begin by talking about what’s going on in your life—whether it’s relationship challenges, feelings of stress or anxiety, or simply wanting to better understand yourself. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out—I’m here to listen and guide the conversation in a way that feels safe and supportive.
I’ll also ask questions to get a sense of your background and experiences, but you’re always in control of how much you want to share. Together, we’ll explore your goals for therapy—whether that’s improving communication with your partner, rebuilding trust, managing anxiety, or something else entirely. My goal in this first meeting is to understand what’s important to you and start building a collaborative relationship where you feel heard and supported.
By the end of the session, we’ll talk about next steps and how we can work together moving forward. I’m here to walk alongside you at your own pace—whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, curious, or just ready for something to change.

Work HistoryMy work as a therapist has always been grounded in helping people navigate the complexities of relationships, intimacy, and personal growth. In my private practice, I focus on supporting individuals and couples through life’s challenges—whether that’s improving communication, rebuilding trust after infidelity, or working through concerns related to intimacy and sex. I understand how overwhelming it can feel when your relationship is struggling or when you’re facing personal challenges, and I offer a safe, non-judgmental space to explore those experiences.
My background in couples therapy and sex therapy has given me a deep understanding of how relationships work—and how they can break down. I’ve worked with people facing a range of concerns, from managing anxiety and low self-esteem to healing after betrayal or improving their sexual connection. I also know that each person’s experience is unique, so I take a collaborative approach—meaning we work together to find the strategies and insights that fit your specific needs.
Beyond my private practice, I’ve taken on a role as the Executive Assistant for the Society for the Advancement of Sexual Health (SASH), which allows me to stay connected to the latest research and best practices in the field. This ongoing learning helps me bring fresh, evidence-based perspectives to my work with clients.
I know that reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step. My goal is to meet you where you are and help you move toward the life and relationships you want—offering support, understanding, and practical tools along the way.
