Get To Know Me
What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
My path to becoming a therapist was driven by a desire to help people navigate life’s challenges with greater understanding, resilience, and hope. I have always been interested in the ways our experiences, relationships, and emotions shape how we see ourselves and the world around us. Over time, I realized that I wanted to create a space where people could feel heard, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
What inspired me most was witnessing the impact that compassionate support and genuine human connection can have during difficult times. I saw how many people struggle silently with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, and other personal challenges, often feeling alone or misunderstood. Becoming a therapist allowed me to combine my passion for helping others with my commitment to fostering healing, growth, and self-discovery.
Today, I feel honored to walk alongside clients as they work through challenges, build on their strengths, and create lives that feel more fulfilling and aligned with their values.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I believe that therapy works best when you feel safe, heard, and respected, so I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you can openly explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences.
I understand that no two people are the same, which is why I tailor therapy to your unique needs, goals, and strengths. Together, we will work to better understand the challenges you are facing, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop practical tools to help you move forward. I focus on helping clients build self-awareness, strengthen coping skills, improve relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change.
My goal is not only to help you manage current difficulties but also to empower you with insights and strategies that support long-term emotional well-being, personal growth, and resilience.
What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
One of the most important things to know about working with me is that I believe therapy is a partnership. You are the expert on your own life, and my role is to provide guidance, support, and tools that help you move toward your goals. I strive to create a space where you can be yourself without fear of judgment, criticism, or pressure.
I understand that reaching out for help can feel vulnerable, and I respect the courage it takes to begin the process. My approach is compassionate, authentic, and focused on building a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust and mutual respect. Whether you are facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, I will meet you where you are and work alongside you at a pace that feels comfortable.
My goal is to help you feel supported, understood, and empowered as you create meaningful and lasting changes in your life.
