Work HistoryOver the course of nearly a decade, my professional journey has provided the foundation to develop specialties working with challenges of depression, anxiety, and life transitions with clients ranging from adolescence to middle adulthood. This has entailed working with at-risk youth and families, severe and persistent mental illness, as well as crisis management in settings that include outpatient/intensive outpatient, inpatient, and both school and community based. Additionally, as a person of color I am passionate and specialize working within the BIPOC community to decrease both disparities and stigma in receiving mental healthcare. Although my primary way of helping others address these hardships is through a cognitive and behavioral approach, I believe integrating techniques catered to the individual is optimal for change. Also, I believe our mental health is interconnected with our physical and spiritual well-being. Therefore, my focus is to help my clients align these elements for improved overall health. From a combination of both personal and professional experiences, the vision was created for Holistic Healing Counseling, LLC.
