Professional Background
LicensureNew York, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, 085216
Work HistoryI have been a social worker and clinician for more than 20 years. During that time, I have worked with people of many ages and abilities and in many different settings. I enjoy working in the criminal justice, mental health and substance abuse fields. I have worked in outpatient clinics, residential treatment facilities, inpatient hospitals, prisons and jails. I’m adept at helping with lots of issues, including those related to anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts and life transitions. Therapy is a process of learning how to see yourself as the captain of your own ship. My job as a therapist is to help you to determine who the best version of yourself is while building a path to get closer to that version. It's about learning how to communicate better and understand why you do the things you do. Everyone can benefit from a better relationship with themselves.
