Get To Know Me
What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
I see myself as a companion and guide for highly sensitive, empathic individuals seeking a path to recovery from trauma.
If you’re the kind of person who feels big emotions (like tearing up at a beautiful sunset), tends to everyone else’s needs but your own, and struggles with self-care and boundaries, I’m here for you. I love to help my highly sensitive clients build healthier relationships with clear boundaries, swap out negative self-talk, find new ways of relating to their anxiety and depression, and come home to their bodies.
What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
I see myself as a companion and guide for highly sensitive, empathic individuals seeking a path to recovery from As a survivor of profound loss, I understand what it’s like to take a healing journey. I humbly see myself as a fellow traveler on the path, always growing, learning, and evolving. Both in my own life and those of my clients, I have witnessed and believe in the healing power of embodiment to recover from deep pain. In my work, there is always space for vulnerable moments, profound realizations, uninhibited emotions, and very often, deep belly laughs.

Education
Naropa University, Master of Arts, Contemplative Psychotherapy and Buddhist Psychology, 2018 — I approach psychology through an Eastern lens, which is one that looks at the underlying causes and conditions behind imbalance, rather than pathologizing or diagnosing. Central to this is a belief in "basic goodness" and "Brilliant Sanity," which is the idea that we're born fundamentally whole and well, and that beneath trauma and stress lies a foundation of wellbeing we can access together in therapy.
Work HistoryI founded Sona Collective in 2021, building it into a somatic, trauma-informed group practice now based in Seattle. I bring 8+ years of trauma-focused clinical experience, combining EMDR, ketamine-assisted therapy, and somatic approaches. Before founding Sona Collective, I served as Clinical Director of a women's residential treatment program at NorthStar Transitions, in Boulder, CO, where I led DBT-based substance abuse treatment and supervised pre-licensed clinicians. My background also includes individual therapy at Trilogy Holistic Mental Health and clinical training in addiction treatment at Center for Change. I hold an M.A. in Contemplative Psychotherapy & Buddhist Psychology from Naropa University and am a Licensed Professional Counselor certified in EMDR, DBT, and multiple somatic and psychedelic-assisted modalities.
