Education
University of Holy Cross, Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Clinical mental health counseling, 2016 — I completed a graduate level CACREP accredited program in 2016 that required me to pass the National Counselor Exam (NCE) to be qualified as a National Certified Counselor (NCC) as well as completion of 3000 hours of post-masters supervised experience in professional mental health counseling under the clinical supervision of a Board-Approved Supervisor for two years. In 2018, I was independently licensed as a LPC in the state of Louisiana.
University of New Orleans, Bachelor of Science in Education, Elementary education grades 1-5, 2012
Work HistoryI have worked in a public school setting for 13 years; since 2012. I have experience working with children, teens, and adults since 2016 as a PLPC in clinical, in-person settings getting clinical hours. I became independently licensed as an LPC in 2018. I decided to start my own private, telehealth practice in 2024. I am licensed in Louisiana and hold an additional certification as a school counselor. Anxiety, stress, and depression are some of the main issues that I have worked with clients on. During initial sessions, we will be able to identify and explore deep, rooted issues which will lead us to processing trauma and create a plan and coping mechanisms that are beneficial and paramount to your healing and growing process. Clients see gradual, positive changes as we navigate this journey.
