In what ways do your life philosophy and treatment philosophy overlap?
One theme that overlaps between my life philosophy and therapy philosophy relates to replicating and learning from nature's approach to healing, renewal and growth. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, I've always been drawn spending time in nature and in our beautiful forests, which became an essential component of my own journey of personal healing and growth. During forest hikes, I feel grounded and revitalized, and I often look for trilliums (the inspiration for my therapy practice name Pacific Trillium Counseling). Trilliums remind me of the power of rest and retreat in difficult times and the transformational growth that can emerge from it, a process I strive to mirror in my personal life and therapy practice.

Work HistoryI am a diversity and trauma-informed therapist! I provide therapy online anywhere in WA state and in-person in Vancouver. I went to USC and obtained my MSW (Master of Social Work) degree in 2017. I became a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), aka, a clinical therapist. I've been a therapist for 7 years, providing therapy to children and adolescents, adults, and groups. I have experience providing quality evidence-based therapy online through video sessions and in-person at my office.
My areas of expertise include helping people with:
-Relationship issues with a focus on communication, boundaries and conflict resolution.
-ADHD support and strategies to cope effectively in daily life
-Healing from trauma or significant life stressors or changes, such as career transitions, relationship changes or major life events
-Managing and reducing anxiety and/or depression symptoms
Therapy approach:
My therapy approach incorporates trauma-focused, strengths-based, person-centered, family systems, attachment-based, compassion-focused, relational therapy, and emotionally focused orientations and modalities. I consider each client's physical, emotional, mental and spiritual wellbeing as interconnected aspects of their overall health. By integrating these diverse therapeutic approaches, I can create a tailored and comprehensive treatment plan that addresses each client's unique needs, promotes healing and growth, and supports their overall wellbeing.
