In what ways have your personal experiences influenced your work with your clients?
My life experiences greatly influence my work. I knew I would become a Shadow Work facilitator after experiencing great transformation from doing my own Shadow Work process. My work is influenced by my own experience with chronic illness, loss, relationship issues, co-dependence, sexual identity journey, depression, work stress, burnout, trauma, betrayal, heartbreak, marginalization based on not identifying as Christian in the bible belt, marriage to a woman (and later divorce) which was not acceptable by some friends and family, relationships with people of different racial identity and ethnicity, and so much more. Each life experience I navigated and found my way through with healing and recovery, some of which is an ongoing process, and some I have found resolution and true peace. I then made my commitment to support others going through a similar experiences.

Work HistoryI've worked as a rape crisis counselor, started a LGBTQ+ youth group and served as their crisis counselor. I was the lead therapist for In Home Therapy for children and families; worked with Child Protective Services for 8 years; specialized in domestic violence; and worked through all of this offering individual sessions for women facing a wide variety of life challenges. I also worked throughout my career facilitating groups and trainings.
