Education
Illinois School of Professional Psychology at National Louis University, Doctorate of Psychology, Clinical Psychology, 2020 — For her dissertation, Dr. Segovia focused on the application and benefits of self-care for an overall sense of well-being.
Work HistoryI have had the opportunity to work in various setting across various populations and issues. I've worked in schools, a help hotline, hospital, and outpatient practices. I enjoy helping individuals across the lifespan find ways to not only be in the present moment, but to also develop a better relationship with themselves. Along with helping clients find skills to help manage the challenges we feel as we try to live our lives, I feel it is also important to make sure we are taking the time to engage in those self-care activities that help us be in the best place we can be to manage the inevitable stressors of life.
