What would be important for someone to know about working with you?

If you're seeking support and understanding on your journey, know that I'm here to help. I'm committed to providing a compassionate and non-judgmental space for you to share your concerns and work towards positive change. Your well-being is my priority, and together, we can navigate the path to healing and growth.

What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?

Becoming a therapist dedicated to destigmatizing mental health within the Latinx community has been a deeply personal and passionate journey for me. Growing up in this vibrant and diverse culture, I witnessed firsthand the reluctance to discuss mental health concerns due to the pervasive stigma surrounding it. This silence often prevented individuals from seeking the help they desperately needed. I felt compelled to challenge this status quo and embarked on a path to empower my community to embrace their emotional well-being without fear or shame. Through culturally sensitive and empathetic therapy, my goal is to foster open conversations, offer support, and provide a safe space where individuals can heal and grow, ultimately paving the way for a more mentally healthy and resilient Latinx community.

Work History

In my career, I've had the privilege of working with diverse individuals across the lifespan. In couples therapy, I've helped partners foster deeper connections and mutual support amongst each other. Working with children and adolescents, I've seen remarkable growth by creating a safe space for self-expression and self-discovery. With individuals, I've witnessed profound personal development, empowering them to overcome obstacles and find their inner strength. My experience across these demographics has reinforced the importance of empathy, patience, and tailoring therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each client.
