Work HistoryI have 6 years of experience working as therapist in private practice and nonprofit community mental health settings providing therapy and mental health support to individuals between the ages of age 6 and 63. I have specialized training in trauma informed approaches, somatic nervous system regulation, and yoga which has helped me to support individuals struggling with anxiety, stress, life transitions and dysregulation. I have a holistic approach to working with clients that includes neuroscience, evidence based therapy interventions and yogic and buddhist philosophy to bring together the mind, body, and spirit. I am also trained in Brainspotting, a powerful somatic therapy that helps process trauma and emotional pain held deep in the subconscious and in the body. Similar to EMDR it uses eye position and boilateral stimulation to access deeper parts of the brain. If talk therapy has not provided the relief you've hoped for this intervention could be a great fit.
