Get To Know Me
What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
Working with me means stepping into a space that honors both logic and intuition, the emotional mind and the wise mind. I approach healing as a process of remembering, not fixing. I do not position myself as the expert of your life. Instead, I act as a mirror, a guide, and a sparring partner in your process of returning to your own inner authority.
My style blends depth psychology, somatic awareness, and a decolonized lens, which means we explore not just your personal history but also the cultural and ancestral patterns that have shaped your sense of self. I hold space for complexity and contradiction: grief and growth, shadow and light, structure and surrender.
I work best with people who are willing to be curious about their own patterns, who value honesty over comfort, and who understand that healing is a cyclical, embodied practice, not a linear checklist. Together, we work to restore balance between insight and embodiment so that your growth is sustainable and self-sourced.
In what ways do your life philosophy and treatment philosophy overlap?
For me, there is no separation between how I live and how I practice. My life philosophy and treatment philosophy are both rooted in the belief that healing is about remembering wholeness, not striving for perfection. I see life as a series of initiations that invite us to return to our bodies, our truth, and our interconnectedness with others.
In both my personal and professional life, I value honesty, curiosity, and presence over performance. I believe growth happens in relationship with ourselves, with others, and with the world around us. The same principles that guide my relationships and choices also shape the therapeutic space: slowing down, listening deeply, and honoring what is ready to emerge.
I view healing as both individual and collective. Just as I work to decolonize my own mind and remember my ancestral wisdom, I invite clients to explore how culture, lineage, and systemic patterns influence their stories and nervous systems. Whether in my own life or in the therapy room, I approach transformation as sacred work, something that asks for compassion, discernment, and embodiment.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
My approach to therapy is relational, somatic, and depth-oriented. I see the therapeutic space as a living relationship where insight and embodiment meet. Together, we explore not only what is happening in your thoughts and emotions but also what your body is holding and communicating.
I draw from depth psychology, attachment theory, and somatic practices while weaving in a decolonized lens that honors culture, ancestry, and collective context. My role is not to fix or diagnose you, but to help you understand the deeper patterns that shape your life and to support you in creating new ways of relating to yourself and others.
I view healing as an act of remembering your inherent worth, your voice, your capacity for love, and your belonging. Sessions often move between conversation, reflection, and somatic awareness, with moments of stillness and insight guiding the process.
Ultimately, my work centers on helping you restore balance between mind, body, and spirit so that your healing becomes something you can carry forward long after therapy ends.
