Work HistoryI have been a counselor for 15 years working with individuals as young as 3 up to 76. I have enjoyed working with individuals presenting with a variety of mental health concerns and needs (from transitioning to severe mental health needs and hospitalization). I am very strength-based and goal-oriented. I personalize your treatment based on what you need and I work to build a trusting and therapeutic relationship with everyone I work with. I have found the most success in working with individuals who are dealing with depression, anxiety trauma (past or recent), and self-harming behaviors. My goal is to help individuals heal from trauma and start thriving in many aspects of their lives. There is always light and hope, even when it does not seem to be. My team here at Light & Hope Counseling has a variety of strengths and skills to help you achieve your goals and have a life worth living. Together we have over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of needs. I am positive that we can help you in this journey.
