Get To Know Me
What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
I've always been drawn to understanding people and helping them move through their struggles. Growing up, I noticed how many people carried heavy burdens alone, feeling ashamed of their anxiety or doubting their worth. I realized people need a safe, judgment-free space to grow and discover their strength.
My faith is central to my calling. I wanted to combine spiritual foundation with evidence-based tools, which is why I pursued my Master's in Counseling—to help people see they're not broken, they're not alone, and they can absolutely change.
What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?
I use a person-centered, faith-based approach. That means I see you as the expert on your journey, and I acknowledge your perspective as a source of strength and transition. We work as a team, adjusting based on who you are and what matters to you.
I'm also committed to culturally responsive care that recognizes mental health looks different for different people. Whether we're working through anxiety, building confidence, reviewing trauma, or improving relationships, my approach centers on understanding your unique experience.
