What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
I specialize in ADHD and assertiveness. In working with people who have ADHD I work with their perspective on it, as well as emotional impact it's had, and strategies to manage it. Different strategies work for different people. I cater the work around you. As for assertiveness I really try to first focus on building the therapeutic relationship so that the relationship feels safe enough for the client to practice confronting me. This will help the client learn to gain confidence and experience a healthy dynamic that can occur when you assert yourself. Often times people who struggle with assertiveness have experienced an unsafe environment when they do so which prevents them from speaking up for their needs and wants.
