Work HistoryIn my work as a therapist, I’ve had the opportunity to support individuals and adolescents in overcoming some of life’s toughest challenges. I specialize in helping people manage anxiety, trauma, depression, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and I believe deeply in the power of healing through both mind and body. My approach is trauma-informed and integrates a variety of therapeutic techniques, including mindfulness, holistic practices, somatic work, and psychodynamic therapy. I focus on helping clients become more attuned to their bodies and emotions, recognizing that past trauma is often held physically, as well as mentally. Through somatic and mindfulness techniques, I guide clients in reconnecting with their body’s wisdom to release tension and stress, allowing for deeper healing. In addition to somatic and mindfulness practices, I draw from psychodynamic therapy to explore how past experiences and unconscious patterns may influence present-day behaviors and emotional responses. This deeper understanding can be transformative, helping clients gain insights into their relationships and emotional struggles, ultimately fostering growth and self-awareness. Whether working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, or OCD, I strive to create a therapeutic space where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered. I use a blend of evidence-based techniques and compassionate care to help clients process and release what no longer serves them, encouraging them to move forward with greater self-compassion, resilience, and confidence.
