What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
During our time together, you will have a safe space to explore your emotions and needs. My style is easygoing, compassionate, and nonjudgmental so that you have the opportunity to be vulnerable and open to healing. I am also open to listening attentively to make our time together best suited for your individual needs.
What does a first session with you look like?
During our first session together, I will assess your needs based on the information you share with me. We will determine your presenting problem and explore the focus of treatment to address your needs during subsequent sessions.
If there was one thing you wish people knew about the therapy experience who might be hesitant to try it, what would that be?
I always tell people that are hesitant to be open to trying it. You also have to look for a therapist you are comfortable with and feel you can work with to reach your goals. Sometimes it takes more than one try, but the best match is most important for you and your treatment.

Work History
I have over fourteen years experience working in community-based organizations serving children, adolescents, and adults and managing staff and programs to serve the community. I have provided services in English and Spanish to individuals, families, and groups in South Florida. I have worked to assist people that present with behavioral and emotional problems.
