Education
Northwestern University, Master of Arts, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, 2022 — I received my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University, where my training emphasized evidence-based care, multicultural competence, and a strong understanding of the connection between mental and physical health. During my education and professional development, I developed a strong interest in health equity and the ways access, identity, and systemic stressors can impact emotional wellness. In addition to my graduate training, I have pursued continuing education in anxiety treatment, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, allowing me to provide evidence-based support for clients struggling with stress, anxiety, burnout, and sleep difficulties.
Work HistoryI earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University and have experience working across several levels of care, including inpatient psychiatric hospitals, intensive outpatient programming, and integrated behavioral health within a primary care setting. These experiences allowed me to work closely with individuals navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, trauma, and major life challenges in both acute and long-term settings. Throughout my work, I became especially passionate about helping clients improve sleep and overall wellness after seeing how deeply insomnia and chronic stress impact both mental and physical health. Working alongside primary care providers also strengthened my understanding of the mind-body connection and the importance of treating mental health as part of whole-person care.
