Get To Know Me
In what ways does your personality influence your approach to therapy?
My personality naturally leans toward curiosity, warmth, and openness, and those qualities shape how I show up in therapy. I bring my full, authentic self into the room—someone who is deeply compassionate but also honest and grounded. I tend to approach therapy with both empathy and humor, creating a space that feels safe but also real. I’m not afraid to explore hard topics, but I do so gently, always respecting your pace and readiness. I believe that meaningful change happens when people feel understood without judgment, so I listen deeply and try to see the world through your eyes. My personality allows me to connect with clients in a way that feels human, collaborative, and hopeful.
In what ways have your personal experiences influenced your work with your clients?
My personal experiences have made me deeply aware of how identity, culture, and life context shape the way we see ourselves and relate to others. I’ve learned that healing often begins when we allow ourselves to tell the truth about our experiences—especially the ones we’ve been taught to minimize or hide. These lessons influence how I approach therapy: with honesty, curiosity, and respect for each person’s lived experience.
I know what it’s like to navigate spaces where you don’t fully fit, and I understand how powerful it can be to finally feel seen and affirmed. Because of that, I strive to create a space where every part of you is welcome—where you can explore how societal pressures, family expectations, or cultural narratives have shaped your story, and begin to define yourself on your own terms. My goal is not to “fix” you, but to walk alongside you as you rediscover your own strength, voice, and sense of possibility.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
My approach to therapy is collaborative, affirming, and grounded in the belief that you are the expert on your own life. I see therapy as a space for reflection and connection—somewhere you can slow down, make sense of what’s happening, and begin to approach yourself with more understanding and compassion.
I draw from feminist and relational perspectives, which means I pay attention to how your personal experiences, relationships, and larger social systems all interact to shape your story. I also integrate evidence-based practices, such as cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness approaches, to help you build insight and practical coping tools.
In session, you can expect me to be genuine and engaged. I ask questions, offer observations, and sometimes gently challenge patterns that may be keeping you stuck. My goal is to create a space that feels both safe and active—a place where you can explore freely while also working toward meaningful change.

Work HistoryMy work as a therapist has always centered on helping people make sense of their experiences and build lives that feel more authentic and balanced. I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals across many stages of life—from teens navigating identity and anxiety to adults managing trauma, relationship challenges, or major life transitions. Over the years, I’ve provided therapy in community clinics, private practices, and trauma-focused settings, all of which have strengthened my belief that people heal best when they feel understood, accepted, and empowered.
I also specialize in working with LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent clients, helping them explore identity, relationships, and self-acceptance in affirming and nonjudgmental ways. My background in psychological assessment complements my therapy work by helping clients gain deeper insight into how their minds work and how to advocate for their needs. Whether I’m supporting someone through anxiety, exploring patterns from past trauma, or helping them reconnect with their sense of purpose, my approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in real-life understanding.
