Get To Know Me
What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
I love to collaborate with clients to understand where they are, how they're feeling, and what they want. I don't like to direct people toward certain goals or coping skills to treat a problem, but instead I'd rather hear what you have already tried and see how we can think outside the box together to work toward a healthier path.
In what ways does your personality influence your approach to therapy?
I'm a very open minded and compassionate person. I honestly like and want to help my clients. It makes my job feel aligned with who I am. I try to remain curious and not give up hope, and I want that to influence my clients positively.
How does collaboration with other providers play into your work?
I regularly consult with 2 other therapists on a weekly basis to discuss my approach with certain clients if I feel stumped or to collect more resources/perspectives on an issue. I work under a supervisor, Brittany Webb, who is an OCD expert and is currently training me to specialize in Exposure Response Therapy
