Work HistoryI have been doing psychological assessment and psychotherapy in private practice since I earned my Ph.D. For the first three years, I also taught at Edinboro University in Pennsylvania and then at Depauw University. I was fortunate to be trained in EMDR therapy by its founder, Francine Shapiro, in 1992 and 1993. Since then I have obtained and maintain certification in EMDR therapy, and most of my clients find this very helpful in their work with me. I have specialized in eating disorders since I completed my doctoral work with a dissertation related to causes of binge-eating. Much of my predoctoral internship was spent training in treating eating disorders. I have been an active member of the Eating Disorder Task Force of Indiana since 1991.
