Get To Know Me
In what ways have your personal experiences influenced your work with your clients?
My own journey through trauma and healing has deeply shaped the way I show up for my clients. I understand how isolating pain can feel and how vulnerable it is to ask for help. Because of this, I offer a space that is compassionate, nonjudgmental, and rooted in the belief that healing is possible. My experiences have given me a strong sense of empathy and a deep commitment to helping others move from surviving to truly living.
In what ways does your personality influence your approach to therapy?
My personality is naturally warm, curious, and grounded, and I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, seen, and accepted. I’m direct but compassionate, and I believe in being real in the therapy room. This helps clients feel more comfortable opening up and exploring what’s really going on beneath the surface. My ability to balance structure with flexibility allows me to meet clients where they are while still keeping the focus on growth and healing.
What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?
I primarily use Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a trauma-focused approach that helps the brain process distressing experiences quickly and effectively, often without needing to talk through all the painful details. I also integrate CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and ACT strategies to support emotional regulation, build insight, and strengthen coping skills. My approach is tailored to each individual, drawing on evidence-based methods to help clients feel empowered and make meaningful, lasting changes.
