Get To Know Me
What’s the most profound, insightful, or interesting thing you’ve learned as a mental health professional?
I have learned that the client is the expert in how they are feeling and what they are experiencing. Everything the client needs to heal lies within them.
In what ways does your personality influence your approach to therapy?
I am not a passive, "so, how does that make you feel?" therapist - I take a great interest in your thoughts and the processes of your experiences. I ask a lot of "what if?" questions and try to explore many options with the client while being respectful of your history and journey.
In what ways do your life philosophy and treatment philosophy overlap?
I believe our history and the history of our family system are important considerations in therapy work.
