Education
University of Nevada, Master of Science, 2013
Work HistoryRelationships don't exist in a vacuum. The patterns you're struggling with often make more sense when you see the whole picture.
I'm a Marriage and Family Therapist in Nevada with over 10 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families. I look at how your relationships, family history, and life experiences connect to what you're dealing with now. Sometimes what feels like your personal problem is actually a relationship pattern. Sometimes individual struggles affect everyone around you. We'll figure out what's actually going on.
I work with couples navigating infidelity, communication breakdowns, and the question of whether to stay or go. I help families dealing with conflict, parenting challenges, and multigenerational patterns that keep repeating. And I see individuals working through anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and major life transitions.
I'm trained in the Gottman Method for couples, which means I understand what predicts whether relationships survive and how to repair them when they're struggling. I also use attachment-based therapy to help you understand why you respond the way you do in relationships—why you withdraw, pursue, or shut down.
For individuals and families, I draw from CBT, DBT, solution-focused therapy, IFS, and trauma-focused approaches. I work from a strength-based perspective because even in struggling relationships and families, there are things that are working, we build from there.
I'm bilingual and conduct full assessments and therapy in Spanish. I understand how cultural values around family, gender roles, and relationships impact the issues you're facing, especially within Hispanic and Latino communities.
I also offer Christian counseling for those who want faith integrated into their therapy. If that's important to you, we can incorporate spiritual perspectives alongside evidence-based approaches.
I work with adults, couples, families, and older adults (65+). Whether you're dealing with relationship issues, family conflict, grief, trauma, or trying to navigate life transitions, I help people develop the skills to move forward.
