Work HistoryI became involved in mental healthcare during my time with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), where I facilitated support groups in the Austin area in addition to working at a crisis hotline. I completed my clinical internship at the Counseling and Family Therapy Clinic at TWU, where I worked with low-income and other marginalized populations and discovered my passion for working with the LGBTQIA community. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin and my Masters of Science in Counseling and Development from Texas Woman's University.
