What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
Through my own journey as a fellow highly sensitive person, I’ve experienced both deep pain and profound love. I’ve come to see that pain creates a ripple effect—when left unhealed, it continues to affect us and those around us. However, I've noticed that healing creates its own ripple effect too. When we release what no longer serves us and choose to live life on our own terms—rather than being bound by old wounds—we transform not only ourselves but also the people around us. It can completely shift how we see the world, and can inspire others to do the same. At its core, I believe all pain stems from an absence of love—on an individual and global level. My goal is to contribute to the ripple effect of healing by fostering love, acceptance, and connection—things we all need more of.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
My approach to therapy is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and respect for your unique experience. I create a space where my clients feel emotionally safe and supported—where clients can speak freely, reflect deeply, and move at their own pace. I believe in working together to uncover patterns, strengthen emotional insight, and support meaningful change. Rather than “fixing,” my role is to walk alongside you—offering reflection, encouragement, and steady presence as you navigate the challenges and transitions of life.
In what ways does your personality influence your approach to therapy?
I believe true healing can only happen in a space of authenticity. It requires deep vulnerability from the most guarded, subconscious parts of ourselves—parts that are experts at sensing whether the environment is truly safe. If the person sitting across from you isn’t being real, those parts will know. While therapy is for you to process and feel whatever comes up, it’s also a space we share. That’s why I show up as my full, authentic self—because genuine connection is essential to healing. You might catch me being a little awkward, cracking a joke, or wholeheartedly agreeing with you about how outrageous your coworker’s behavior was. My goal as your therapist is to be real with you, to create a space where you feel accepted, connected, and truly understood.

Education
Occidental College, Bachelor of Arts, Psychology
I chose to pursue my Bachelors in Psychology in order to become well equipped to effectively help and communicate with individuals in need of mental health care. I have always valued the individuality of people, hearing their stories, and providing a safe, accepting space to just "be". My BA in Psychology with a minor in Sociology has provided me with a plethora of knowledge, openness, and communication skills that are needed to contribute to the healing of many different populations. While we all may belong to different groups, we are all human - and we all deserve love.
Antioch University Los Angeles, Master of Arts, Clinical Psychology, specialization in Spiritual and Depth Psychology, 2024
My Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Spiritual and Depth Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles provided me with a strong foundation in therapeutic practice. I studied various psychological theories, including psychodynamic, attachment-based, and trauma-informed approaches, which help me understand clients' experiences on a deeper level. I also learned essential therapeutic methodologies, such as the significance of nonverbal communication, the power of silence, and the vital importance of holding space for any type of emotion. Additionally, through extensive self-reflection on my own history and patterns, I developed greater self-awareness, allowing me to remain objective and fully present in sessions, creating an environment where true healing can take place.
Work History
I specialize in working with highly sensitive people who feel emotions and energy deeply. My goal is to offer a calm, supportive space where your sensitivity is understood, respected, and embraced. Together, we’ll gently process emotions, build resilience, and navigate life’s challenges with care and intention. My approach is rooted in empathy, authenticity, and collaboration—I’ll meet you exactly where you are and walk beside you at your pace. We’ll explore old patterns with curiosity and work to release what no longer serves you. During my clinical experience at Maple Counseling Center, I worked with a diverse range of clients, offering compassionate, trauma-informed care. I became skilled in creating personalized treatment plans, guiding clients through emotional challenges, and fostering a space where they felt truly understood and supported. Clients often shared that they felt seen, valued, and safe to explore emotions they had never openly expressed before. My background also includes working in residential treatment, where I supported women recovering from addiction. Through this experience, I gained a deep understanding of how early life experiences and trauma shape emotional well-being. I am passionate about helping individuals and families build emotional regulation skills, develop healthy coping strategies, and break free from unhelpful patterns before they take hold. At the heart of my work is a commitment to being fully present with you, creating a space where you feel heard, accepted, and empowered. My goal is to support you in understanding yourself more deeply, building resilience, and finding the clarity and confidence to move forward in your life.
