Education
Occidental College, Bachelor of Arts, Psychology — I chose to pursue my Bachelors in Psychology in order to become well equipped to effectively help and communicate with individuals in need of mental health care. I have always valued the individuality of people, hearing their stories, and providing a safe, accepting space to just "be". My BA in Psychology with a minor in Sociology has provided me with a plethora of knowledge, openness, and communication skills that are needed to contribute to the healing of many different populations. While we all may belong to different groups, we are all human - and we all deserve love.
Antioch University Los Angeles, Master of Arts, Clinical Psychology, specialization in Spiritual and Depth Psychology, 2024 — My Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Spiritual and Depth Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles provided me with a strong foundation in therapeutic practice. I studied various psychological theories, including psychodynamic, attachment-based, and trauma-informed approaches, which help me understand clients' experiences on a deeper level. I also learned essential therapeutic methodologies, such as the significance of nonverbal communication, the power of silence, and the vital importance of holding space for any type of emotion. Additionally, through extensive self-reflection on my own history and patterns, I developed greater self-awareness, allowing me to remain objective and fully present in sessions, creating an environment where true healing can take place.
Work HistoryI specialize in working with highly sensitive people who feel emotions and energy deeply. My goal is to offer a calm, supportive space where your sensitivity is understood, respected, and embraced. Together, we’ll gently process emotions, build resilience, and navigate life’s challenges with care and intention. My approach is rooted in empathy, authenticity, and collaboration—I’ll meet you exactly where you are and walk beside you at your pace. We’ll explore old patterns with curiosity and work to release what no longer serves you. During my clinical experience at Maple Counseling Center, I worked with a diverse range of clients, offering compassionate, trauma-informed care. I became skilled in creating personalized treatment plans, guiding clients through emotional challenges, and fostering a space where they felt truly understood and supported. Clients often shared that they felt seen, valued, and safe to explore emotions they had never openly expressed before. My background also includes working in residential treatment, where I supported women recovering from addiction. Through this experience, I gained a deep understanding of how early life experiences and trauma shape emotional well-being. I am passionate about helping individuals and families build emotional regulation skills, develop healthy coping strategies, and break free from unhelpful patterns before they take hold. At the heart of my work is a commitment to being fully present with you, creating a space where you feel heard, accepted, and empowered. My goal is to support you in understanding yourself more deeply, building resilience, and finding the clarity and confidence to move forward in your life.
