Get To Know Me
What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
When we work together, you can expect a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where your experiences and feelings are heard and respected. I use EMDR and IFS to help you process trauma, stress, and life transitions, and I tailor my approach to fit your needs. Sessions are fully virtual, making it easy to access therapy from wherever you are. I work at a pace that feels comfortable for you, emphasizing collaboration, self-awareness, and practical tools for lasting growth.
What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?
I use EMDR to help process trauma and reframe distressing experiences, IFS to explore and understand your inner parts, and somatic techniques to notice and regulate how your body holds stress. I believe in a bottom-up approach, starting with the body to support emotional and cognitive healing. Therapy with me is collaborative, paced to your comfort, and fully virtual, so you can access care safely and conveniently from wherever you are. My goal is to help you build resilience, self-awareness, and emotional balance while creating a space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to heal at your own pace.
What are your biggest strengths as a therapist?
I bring warmth, empathy, and genuine curiosity to every session, helping clients feel seen, heard, and safe. Having personally experienced the benefits of understanding myself, I know how powerful self-awareness can be in fostering growth and healing. My years of experience guiding people through trauma and life transitions have taught me patience, adaptability, and the importance of meeting each person where they are. I’m attentive to both the emotional and physical ways stress shows up, and I prioritize creating a space where clients feel empowered to explore, grow, and heal at their own pace.

Education
Arizona State University, Master of Social Work, Social Work, 2025 — I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from Arizona State University (ASU), one of the largest and most diverse social work programs in the nation. ASU's MSW program is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) and offers a comprehensive curriculum that prepares graduates for advanced professional social work practice. The program emphasizes understanding and respect for the unique social, political, and cultural diversity of the Southwest. Through rigorous coursework and field education, I developed a strong foundation in social work principles, ethics, and practices, equipping me to serve and empower individuals, families, and communities effectively.
Gustavus Adolphus College, Bachelor of Arts, Religion, 2015 — I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Gustavus Adolphus College, where I studied a diverse array of religious traditions, including Buddhism, Christianity, Confucianism, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, and Taoism. This comprehensive program emphasized interfaith dialogue, ethical reflection, and the exploration of life's fundamental questions. Through this academic journey, I developed critical thinking, research, and communication skills, which have profoundly informed my approach to therapy.
Work HistoryI have spent years supporting individuals through challenging life experiences and personal growth. Early in my career, I worked for five years in wilderness therapy, guiding people through transformative outdoor experiences and witnessing the profound impact that reflection, challenge, and connection with nature can have on emotional growth and resilience.
I also supported individuals affected by cancer at Survivor Wellness, helping them navigate the complex emotional and physical challenges of their journeys. These experiences deepened my commitment to trauma-informed, compassionate care and taught me the power of listening, presence, and creative approaches to healing.
Now, as an EMDR-trained therapist, I continue to support people navigating trauma, anxiety, life transitions, and religious or relational challenges, providing a safe and collaborative space for growth and healing.
