In what ways does your personality influence your approach to therapy?
My personality is grounded, reflective, and deeply relational, which shapes how I show up in therapy. I naturally create a space where you don’t have to have the “right words” or everything figured out. I listen closely—not just to what you say, but to what might feel harder to express—and I meet you with warmth, honesty, and care.
I’m also deeply guided by culture and identity. I believe your experiences, family values, and background matter in understanding what you’re going through. You won’t have to leave parts of yourself at the door here. Instead, we make space to explore them in a way that feels respectful and meaningful.
At the same time, I’m gently direct and intentional about helping you move forward. I’ll support you in making sense of patterns, reconnecting with yourself, and building change that feels realistic and true to who you are.
If you could pick one movie or book that influenced your approach to therapy, what would it be and why?
If I could choose a few movies that influence my approach to therapy, it would be Encanto, Shrek, I Am Sam, and Me, Myself & Irene. Each one, in very different ways, shows how complex identity, emotions, and internal conflict can be.
Encanto highlights how family expectations and unspoken pressures can shape how we see ourselves, and how healing begins when people are seen beyond their roles. Shrek reminds me that everyone has layers, and that real connection happens when we are accepted without needing to perform or change who we are. I Am Sam reflects the power of love, resilience, and the importance of not underestimating someone’s ability to care, grow, and connect. Me, Myself & Irene adds a different lens—showing how internal struggles, emotional overwhelm, and different parts of ourselves can feel in conflict, yet still deserve understanding rather than judgment.
Together, these stories reflect my approach in therapy: creating a space where all parts of you are welcome, your experiences are understood with compassion, and you are supported in building self-awareness, healing, and connection without losing who you are.

Education
The University of Texas at San Antonio, Associate of Applied Arts, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, 2024 — Earned a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Texas at San Antonio, along with a Bilingual Counseling Certificate. Graduate training emphasized trauma, crisis intervention, diagnosis, and multicultural counseling, with preparation to work with individuals, couples, and families across the lifespan.
Clinical internship experience in a nonprofit setting included providing individual and family counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral health support to children and families navigating complex emotional and relational challenges. This background supports a grounded, culturally responsive approach to care.
Combining academic training with real-world experience, services focus on helping clients manage stress, improve relationships, and build practical skills for emotional regulation, communication, and overall well-being.
Work HistoryI’ve spent the past several years working with children, teens, and families in schools, residential programs, nonprofit counseling centers, and federally supported care systems. In these roles, I’ve supported individuals navigating stress, trauma, family separation, life transitions, and emotional or behavioral challenges.
My work has included helping families stay connected during difficult transitions, supporting youth in high-stress environments, and working alongside therapists, medical providers, and community resources to make sure people receive the care they need. I’ve also responded to crisis situations, helped de-escalate intense emotions, and supported individuals in finding stability during overwhelming moments.
During my clinical internship, I provided individual and family therapy in a nonprofit setting, working more directly with clients on anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship concerns.
All of these experiences have shaped how I show up in sessions—grounded, practical, and focused on helping you feel supported while building tools you can actually use in your everyday life.
