Get To Know Me
What is your style/approach to therapy?
My counseling style is pretty laid back overall. I believe in treating all clients with respect and cultivating a safe space free of judgments. I have been described by former clients as being warm, calming, patient, and empathetic, and I will always do my best to make you feel at ease.
What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
I have a passion for working with women of all ages in the areas of both mental health and substance abuse. Some of my specialties include treating depression, anxiety, and addictions, along with self-esteem building and adjusting to life changes. With an open-minded and welcoming approach, I strive to create a gentle, nurturing environment for you to explore your internal world as you work towards healing.
How do you determine therapy goals with clients? What does that process look like?
I believe in working collaboratively with you to determine which interventions will work most effectively to meet your unique and specific needs. One size does not fit all when it comes to counseling, which is why I find collaboration with you throughout the therapeutic process to be essential. It is important to me that you find this experience to be nothing short of beneficial!
