Work HistoryI have spent my career specializing in the two areas where people often struggle the most privately — their relationships and their sexuality. I founded the Center for Intimacy, Connection and Change in Pikesville, Maryland, where I work with couples navigating conflict, disconnection, and betrayal, and with individuals addressing sexual concerns that affect their confidence, their relationships, and their quality of life. My training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) — one of the most researched approaches to couples work available — was developed through certified training with ICEEFT, the international body that sets the standard for EFT practice. My work in sex therapy is grounded in AASECT certification, which required years of supervised clinical training specifically in human sexuality beyond my general therapy license. Before founding CICC, I worked in clinical settings that deepened my understanding of how relationship struggles, sexual concerns, anxiety, and depression intersect — and why addressing them separately rarely works as well as addressing them together. That insight is at the core of how I practice today.
