Work HistoryMy recent experience as a therapist includes counseling students at Berea College Counseling Services. Berea students often come from a low-SES environment, and many experienced complex trauma. They were challenging clients, but working with them was gratifying, and I gained significant insight into their issues. They helped me develop my therapeutic approach. But I am also an artist, recognized with two fellowships from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, and my artwork showcased in many prestigious exhibitions. Through my work as an artist, I've explored the human condition, drawing inspiration from an existential and humanistic viewpoint. In addition, I've been involved in many aspects of the art world: I've taught art at the college level and worked at several galleries and museums. I've also worked as a project manager for a software company.
