Get To Know Me
In what ways have your personal experiences influenced your work with your clients?
Having navigated sudden loss myself, I bring a deep, lived understanding of grief to our work. While our sessions will always center entirely on your experience, my background allows me to truly see you and honor the courage it takes to walk your unique path forward.
What does a first session with you look like?
Our first session is focused entirely on building safety and trust. Rather than rushing into the darkest parts of your story, we will look at how things are impacting your day-to-day life right now. Together, we will outline a gentle, personalized roadmap for your healing, ensuring we move at a pace that feels comfortable and secure for you.
Is there any research-based work you’ve done that you found particularly exciting, and how has that informed your practice today?
Yes, I find research from Columbia University's Center for Prolonged Grief exciting. The Center for Prolonged Grief defines grief through a deeply comforting lens: “Grief is the form love takes when someone we love dies, and it seeks a rightful place in our lives.” So I see grief as a form of love in my practice today.

Work HistoryMy clinical experience has always been driven by a passion for understanding how we connect with others. I have spent my career learning how to best support clients who feel stuck in painful circumstances and struggles. My background has equipped me to help clients navigate complex emotional wounds and offer a secure therapeutic relationship where we can safely explore your past and build a more grounded, connected future. My specialization in both attachment trauma and grief allows me to deeply understand the profound ways our past relationships and painful losses shape how we experience the world today. I recognize that trauma often involves a loss of safety, just as grief involves a loss of connection. Because of this, I do not rush the healing process. Instead, I provide a patient, grounded space where we can safely untangle old emotional wounds, honor your pain, and work together to rebuild a sense of security and hope.
