Professional Background
Licensure
Under Supervision: Mr. Matthew Wisniewski, Licensed Professional Counselor, C.2204012 is practicing under the supervision of Stephanie Lukes (Ohio, LPCC-S, E.2202743-SUPV) at MW Counseling LLC.
Please, note: A clinician listed as being “clinically supervised” is completing clinical hours toward their licensure. They have one or more fully licensed clinical supervisors that often have special training. They consult with their supervisor(s) on all of their cases.
Education
John Carroll University, Master of Arts, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, 2022 — I had a concentration in substance use disorders and I engaged in research on the affects COVID-19 had on mental health.
Work HistoryI completed my internship at a substance use agency before working in a community mental health agency for a few months. It was not a good fit and I was not seeing clients that could benefit from my services, so I moved to private practice where I can see clients that fit my skillsets of anxiety and relationship issues. In private practice, I was able to build my skills treating anxiety and various types of relationship issues, be it family conflict, toxic relationships, processing abuse from exes, and divorce issues. I started my own private practice to make client interaction as straightforward as possible by handling all the intake, scheduling, billing, and therapy.
