Work HistoryI spent over two decades as an associate professor teaching language and cultural education. This foundation deepens my understanding of intercultural communication, cross-cultural adjustment, and the unique challenges of navigating different cultural spaces. As a Social Service Director in healthcare and rehabilitation settings, I worked directly with adults, older adults, and families. I provided individual and group therapy to help clients adjust to major life changes, navigate end-of-life care, process grief and loss, and cope with chronic conditions. Through my outpatient work at Blue Moon Senior Counseling and my current practice, I guide clients through anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and major life shifts. I draw on evidence-based approaches—including CBT, ACT, DBT, and trauma-informed care—to help you build resilience and reconnect with your inner strength.
