Work HistoryMy professional journey has been shaped by experiences that deepened my expertise and strengthened my commitment to providing compassionate, personalized care. My training at Duke University’s School of Nursing gave me a strong foundation in evidence-based psychiatry and mental health care. This education emphasized the importance of staying up to date with proven treatments while always centering the unique needs and stories of my clients. I further honed my skills working with veterans at the VA, where I was privileged to support individuals facing complex mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety, and depression. This experience taught me the importance of a trauma-informed, empathetic approach and how to adapt care to honor each person’s background, values, and life experiences. I worked closely with individuals navigating deeply personal struggles and collaborated to find paths toward healing and recovery. These experiences shaped how I approach care today—with respect, curiosity, and a commitment to meeting you where you are. My work has underscored the importance of listening deeply, understanding the whole person, and tailoring treatments to fit individual needs. Whether through medication management, supportive therapy, or simply providing a safe space to share your story, I use what I’ve learned to help you move forward with confidence and find balance in life.
