In what ways have your personal experiences influenced your work with your clients?
Based on my life experiences, I believe that any person could benefit from therapy. I feel that there a huge misconception around what therapy actually looks like and I want to show people, especially the doubtful ones, how effective therapy can really be in their life.
In what ways does your personality influence your approach to therapy?
Ask any of my friends or family and they'll tell you that I will always tell it to you straight, even if it may not be what you want to hear. As a therapist, you can expect the same. I believe in transparency and honesty in my personal life and believe it in my professional life as well. I am a very caring person and care about my clients. Because I care, I believe it is my job to tell you the truth. I'm here to help you heal and get better.

Education
University of Kentucky, Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, 2025 — I am currently a counseling intern completing my master's in clinical mental health counseling!
Berklee College of Music, Bachelor of Arts, Music Therapy, 2015 — I graduate from Berklee with a degree in Music Therapy. I have been a Board-Certified Music Therapist for almost a decade and I love using music to help clients with their mental health struggles.
Work HistoryI have worked as a music therapist in mental health for almost a decade now (ugh I feel old saying that). While I'm a new counselor, I'm defiantly not new to the world of mental health. As a music therapist in mental health I focus heavily on how to utilize music as a tool to improve a client's mental health. I hope to be able to use my experience as a music therapist with clients, especially those who are a little hesitant to start this journey.
