I am a down to earth person and I am a fairly open book! I find the best connections with people form when you be yourself, and share the human experience. This is why I will often share personal stories and connections with you as a means to normalize your experience, connect, and help you feel seen and heard.
Therapy can feel scary and challenging, often leaving people to avoid it, continuing the cycle! There are so many myths and misconceptions about what therapy actually is that come from social media, family, movies, culture, and so on. This is why I take a collaborative approach, letting you lead the way and guide your treatment. Meeting you where you are at to create a sense of safety.
My sessions are always different. They range from structured activity, to just listening and validating your experiences! It is very geared toward what you want and need in therapy and/or what you need that day. Some sessions we may be talking about your day, some we may be exploring past experiences and how they impact your personality and behaviors, and some we may be making a list of self care tools or coping skills to try at home!

- Massachusetts, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, 12030
Lesley University, Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Expressive Therapies--Drama Therapy, 2018
My degree is in clinical mental health as well as my training is in clinical mental health. I had a focus in expressive arts but that is just a piece of what I do, and it is optional for clients to utilize in sessions or not.
I have worked with clients of all backgrounds and needs. I worked in an acute hospital setting, a clinic, private practice, and a school. I have a diverse knowledge of types of therapies through these experiences. Furthermore my past clients have had all different needs and I am experienced in many areas and can offer support to a variety of issues.
