Get To Know Me
What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
want therapy to feel like one of the few places where you don't have to have it all figured out. You can show up exactly as you are—without judgment, pressure, or the expectation to be anything other than yourself.
Clients often tell me they appreciate that I am warm, genuine, and easy to talk to while also offering practical tools and honest feedback. I believe healing happens through a collaborative relationship built on trust, curiosity, compassion, and sometimes even humor. Together, we'll explore not only what's happening in your thoughts and emotions, but also how your nervous system, relationships, life experiences, and overall well-being influence your mental health.
My goal isn't to "fix" you because I don't believe you're broken. My role is to help you better understand yourself, reconnect with your strengths, and build a life that feels authentic, balanced, and meaningful. We'll celebrate progress, learn from setbacks, and move at a pace that feels safe and sustainable for you.
What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?
Because no two people heal the same way, I take an integrative, individualized approach to therapy. I draw from evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based interventions, trauma-informed care, somatic therapy, and strengths-based approaches. I also incorporate nervous system regulation, polyvagal-informed strategies, self-compassion, and holistic wellness practices when appropriate. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all model, we will work together to find the tools and approaches that best support your unique goals, values, and healing journey.
What should we know about your experiences and background?
My professional journey has allowed me to support people through some of life's most challenging moments. In addition to private practice, I have spent over 15 years working in healthcare and behavioral health, helping individuals and families navigate medical crises, trauma, grief, chronic illness, life transitions, and emotional recovery. These experiences have deepened my belief that healing is never one-dimensional.
Working across medical, behavioral health, and leadership settings has given me the opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while developing a deep appreciation for the connection between physical health, emotional well-being, relationships, and resilience. This perspective continues to shape my integrative, whole-person approach to therapy.
Whether you're seeking support for a specific challenge or looking for a deeper understanding of yourself, my goal is to meet you with compassion, authenticity, and practical tools that empower you to create meaningful, lasting change.
