Education
Texas Woman's University, Master of Arts, Counseling Psychology l, 2019 — I earned a Master of Arts with a major in Counseling Psychology. Building on my desires to understand and improve the human condition, I chose graduate training that included a feminist approach to understanding human behaviour, identity, and relationships, and their impact on mental health. I pursued additional training and experience in gender, sexuality, and relationships to cultivate a deeper ability to help others fully embrace a holistic version of themselves.
University of North Texas, Bachelor of Arts, Psychology, LGBT Studies, 2016 — I earned a Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Psychology and a Minor in LGBT Studies. In my pursuit of a deeper understanding of what it means to be human, I studied other areas alongside psychology, including sociology, anthropology, philosophy, theology, criminology, anatomy/physiology, journalism, pedagogy/teaching, and more. I believe this diverse knowledge base uniquely supports those I work with in building a holistic approach to mental health and overall wellbeing.
