What do you view as a key component of the therapeutic relationship?
The therapeutic relationship is built on two essential pillars: commitment and accountability. Commitment means actively engaging in the process—not just in session, but in daily life. Accountability is the willingness to follow through with that engagement. Responsibility and accountability work together; one cannot exist without the other. Meaningful change comes from recognizing that the actions you take for yourself are what create progress. In this work, the therapist serves as a guide: supporting, challenging, and walking alongside you as you lead your own transformation.
What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
My approach is structured and goal-driven, drawing from extensive work with first responders and trauma survivors. I prioritize direct, evidence-based action over open-ended venting. We focus on the practical psychological work required to move past high-functioning survival and toward sustainable, long-term mastery. We identify the solutions.
I prioritize a discerning start to ensure a precise fit. Inquiries are screened against my current scope to maintain a high standard of clinical care. To remain focused on active clients, I only respond to inquiries that align with my expertise and capacity. We value the right fit over a fast start. Aligned inquiries will be contacted promptly. In what ways do your life philosophy and treatment philosophy overlap?
Real change begins when you recognize your own agency. It starts with the decision to take responsibility for your well-being—not as self-blame, but as self-respect. When your focus turns inward, growth becomes possible. While many look outside themselves for answers, transformation happens through intentional action: choosing empowered perspectives, building daily rituals, and committing to personal care. Changing how you relate to yourself is what ultimately changes your life.

Professional Background
LicensurePennsylvania, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, CW016898
Training/CertificationsEMDRCEAPACEIP (ADULT CHILDREN OF EMOTIONALLY IMMATURE PARENTS) BY DR. LINDSAY GIBSON
Education
ADELPHI UNIVERSITY, Master of Social Work, BEHAVIORAL MODIFICATION AND FAMILY SYSTEMS, 2007 — I am a client centered clinician and practice systems theory: understanding the impact/influence of the systems the client operates within. How is the client's health impacting the problem (biology)? The influence of their role at work? Etc. This approach facilitates comprehensive exploration of the issue to facilitate comprehensive solutions to then implement. Individuals are influenced by all areas of their life (systems) and have to cope with a multitude of factors that need to be addressed to aid with enacting comprehensive change. My clinical experience is comprehensive in treating the fluidity of a client's experience inclusive of understanding and then treating the impacts of trauma.
Work HistoryI'm Michele J. Rosario, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and Certified Employment Assistance Professional (CEAP) in the State of Pennsylvania offering behavioral health sessions via Telehealth offering solutions focused sessions aimed at change. What is solution focused treatment? It means engaging the problem from a solution focused perspective to aid with empowerment.
My clinical experience includes everything from working with adult trauma survivors including first responders and military personnel to hospice care. Additionally, I have experience working as an onsite EAP consultant in work environments to aid with life stressors within the workplace. This journey has created and cultivated my passion for education to find solutions to empower and enact change. This also developed my foundational clinical focus of utilizing psycho-education to empower clients to "know what a therapist knows" (Judith Herman). I acquired my Bachelor's of Arts (BA) degree from Hofstra University before deciding to enter into the mental health field via the pursuit of a Master's of Social Work (MSW) from Adelphi University in their clinically advanced program graduating Magna Cum Laude. I am humbled to state that I was hired by the facility where I was performing my final graduate rotation given their citing my diligent clinical efforts
supporting individuals (families of) that had undergone a catastrophic health crisis. In 2011, I acquired my LCSW and CEAP in PA before entering into private practice. Since that time, I continue to provide consultative services for other clinical professionals and working as a mentor to other LCSW candidates and clinicians.
