Get To Know Me
In what ways do your life philosophy and treatment philosophy overlap?
I strongly believe that life is what you make of it and my treatment philosophy reflects that. I spend a lot of time getting to know my clients - their experiences, history, family and peer relationships. Once a rapport and understanding of my client is established, I then begin to guide my clients through the healing process by encouraging them to accept their experiences, thoughts, and feelings, commit to healing which often involves action-oriented interventions, and recognize/change their own thoughts and behaviors that may be counter-productive to growth.

Work HistoryDuring my time as a therapist, I've worked in hospital settings, private practice, and substance use and recovery centers. Because of these experiences, I've found that I really enjoy working with female populations, ages 18 and up, focusing on college and school stressors, life stressors, relationship issues, separation and divorce, chronic illness and pain, and a variety of anxiety-driven disorders.
