Under Clinical Supervision

Mrs. Mira Brady, Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, 90317 is practicing under the supervision of Melissa Earls (Texas, LPC-S, 19312) at Vibrant Soul Counseling.

Please, note: A clinician listed as being “clinically supervised” is completing clinical hours toward their licensure. They have one or more fully licensed clinical supervisors that often have special training to become supervisors. They consult with their supervisor(s) on all of their cases, which means that, when working with them, you are getting the time and expertise of multiple therapists in your treatment.

What would be important for someone to know about working with you?

Although I am your therapist, I do not make the decisions for you. It is important to know that I believe in autonomy. That means, I will ask the questions and allow you to make a decision that is best for your situation. We will discuss the pros and cons, but ultimately, the decision is yours. I am just here to help you navigate to the solutions. You are the vehicle, and I am the GPS Navigation system.

What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?

I was inspired to become a counselor because I love to help others. As a former teacher, I received joy when my students had their "Ah-ha" moment. I wanted to see that light bulb forever. In the role of a teacher, I felt my impact on the masses was stunted, and I wanted to make a larger impact. From there, I became a high school counselor. In that role, it was more academic focused as opposed to focusing on the emotional needs of students. That is when I knew I had to move into the role of a Licensed Professional Counselor-A. It has been the most rewarding and fulfilling career ever. Leaving a session knowing I have played a pivotal role in one's mental health is an amazing feeling for my client and myself.

Hi! My name is Mira Brady, and I have worked as a counselor for 8 years. Thank you for considering me as your therapist. Choosing a therapist is very personal and I urge you to be judgmental as possible to find the right fit for you. My approach is to work beside you to achieve your personal goals and growth. My personal belief and value is to "Do No Harm" to any of my clients. I will work to make sure your mental health is my first priority. I also believe in autonomy.
