Get To Know Me
If you could pick one movie or book that influenced your approach to therapy, what would it be and why?
An influential book is "Maybe You Should Talk to Someone" by Lori Gottlieb. This book always reminds me of what it means to be human: we each have our own stories, our own struggles, our own joys, etc.. Life is full of highs and lows, and it is through these experiences and emotions that we grow. I would love the opportunity to help you work through the lows and discover a stronger and healed version of yourself.
What do you view as a key component of the therapeutic relationship?
Feeling comfortable, supported, and safe are imperative for your therapeutic experience. I prioritize a person-centered approach, embracing every client wholeheartedly. With me, you can trust you will be heard and accepted.

Work HistoryI have experience in my college counseling center helping students overcome substance use issues and co-occurring mental health struggles. I also facilitated a therapeutic group devoted to LGBTQIA+ individuals discussing identity, body-image, and interpersonal concerns. Prior to gaining my counseling experience, I worked as a personal trainer in a holistic care center on a treatment team of registered dietitians, exercise physiologists, and personal trainers. In this position I helped advance clients' physical health and overcome body-image struggles, always enforcing a healthy at every size mindset.
