What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
I do not believe in a "one size fits all" framework of therapy. I believe in a personalized approach to therapy and know that you are the expert of your life. I take the time to get to know you and gain an understanding of the factors that impact you and your ability to live the life you want to live. I am solution-focused and work with you to set both short and long-term therapeutic goals. I understand that building a trusting therapeutic alliance is one of the keys to making lasting changes through therapy. Because of this, I take a relatable and humanistic approach to therapy. My goal is to create a comfortable and supportive environment where you can be you 100% of the time and we can focus on what you need to work toward meaningful change.
What does success look like in therapy? How will a client know that they are making progress?
There are no rules for how long you should be in therapy for and what success looks like. Some clients come to therapy short-term to resolve a specific issue and others remain in therapy for years for continued support and growth. We will work together to determine when your therapeutic goals have been met.

Work History
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) dedicated to supporting clients in navigating life's challenges. With a focus on college and graduate students, as well as young adults, I specialize in addressing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, low self-esteem, body image, perfectionism, and the overwhelming pressures of being a young adult. I approach therapy from a strengths-based perspective, recognizing and building upon your unique strengths. By incorporating therapeutic modalities like psychodynamic and CBT, I provide personalized support that empowers you to make lasting, positive changes. I believe in the power of humor as a therapeutic tool, and I integrate it into my work to foster a genuine relationship and comfortable environment. Together, we'll explore your challenges, discover your inner strength, and strive for a renewed sense of balance and fulfillment in your life. Finding balance is a lifelong practice. I currently maintain balance in my life with morning runs, exploring new restaurants, checking things off my to-do list, reading, and spending time with friends, family, and my dog. Whether you're struggling with a specific issue or looking for support in achieving your goals, I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward the life you want to live!
