Work HistoryI’ve been working with young adults since 2007, mostly in university counseling centers, helping students navigate the challenges of identity, culture, relationships, and mental health. Those early experiences shaped my passion for creating a space where people feel seen, affirmed, and supported as they figure out who they really are. As a first-generation Arab-American, I know how hard it can be to reach out for help, especially when therapy feels unfamiliar or when you’ve learned to survive by staying quiet. My work has always been about changing that. Making therapy accessible, relevant, and culturally attuned, especially for people navigating the intersections of race, gender, faith, sexuality, and family expectations. Over the years, I’ve expanded my work beyond campuses and into private practice, where I support millennials and Gen Z clients across Texas, 40+ states, and internationally. Alongside my clinical work, I’ve also collaborated with institutions and advocacy groups to challenge systemic barriers and promote equity in mental health access. Across all of it, my goal has stayed the same: to help people reclaim their worth and live with more ease, clarity, and self-trust.
