Get To Know Me
What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
My most utilized approaches with clients are client-centered and solution-focused therapies. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Strengths-Based Therapy. I am also a certified Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapist. I believe therapy is a team effort that works best when we’re both invested in its success.
When working with clients, I always try to meet you where you are at. Therapy can be intimidating and it takes a lot of courage to talk to someone (a complete stranger at first!) about things that you are struggling with. I believe that everyone has the capability to change their situation, whether big or small. I am excited to meet you and talk about what goals or expectations you have when it comes to therapy and how I can help you reach those goals. If we seem like a good match, I encourage you to reach out and get started today!

Work HistoryHello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Illinois. I am also licensed in Iowa, Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Texas. I’ve worked with various populations since 2015, when I worked as an advocate for domestic violence survivors. Since starting my career, I have worked in community-based mental health, private practice, schools and hospitals. Since 2021, I have primarily worked in telehealth, so I am well versed in making virtual sessions as comfortable and productive as possible.
I’ve worked with children and adults dealing with life-changing situations, such as Depression, Anxiety, and ADHD. I have also worked extensively with survivors of trauma – including physical and sexual abuse. However, I believe that therapy is for everyone, so even if you don’t feel you are dealing with severe issues, I also assist clients with stress, self-esteem issues, coping with general life changes, relationship issues, family conflicts, anger management, communication issues and coaching.
